Hello Greg,

I have been meaning to send you a note to let you know just how happy I am with the TH700R4 you installed in my 1977 Trans Am in November 2007 : It simply ROCKS! 

Between the 2200 rpm stall and the 3.06 1st gear it comes out of the hole like it never ever did before. I love the positive firm shifts. Overall it drives more like how I imagine a race car would feel, but with all the power accessories and AC, and my wife can still drive it if she needs to. Overall the car just is more streetable with the looser converter, idles better and power braking is improved. Its really way more fun to drive and it all looks factory installed to boot!
I did not get to drive it all from Dec 21st - March 7th due to an accident where an F150 pick-up truck smacked into the front left side. Just got the car back from the shop on Friday 3/7 and driving it with the 700r4 immediately made me smile.
I recommend you guys to anyone that asks about where to  get a new transmission or have a rebuild done.
