This compact overdrive was used from 1981 to 1987 in everything from full size Cadillac's to the Buick GNX. It is the same overall length and output spline as the short tail turbo 350 and comes in the Chevrolet, and Buick, Olds, Pontiac bolt patterns. This is an excellent trans for cruisers and daily drivers including light pickups with up to 350 horsepower. The first gear ratio is 2.74 to 1 and overdrive in .67 to 1.

This is the transmission of choice for anyone looking for maximum performance and economy at a minimum investment. We also provide a custom rebuild service for Monte Carlo SS and Buick Turbo owners who want to retain the original trans but would like a performance oriented rebuild to cope with their power upgrades. This is our strongest available 2004R for those who can’t step to a 700R4 or 4L80E due to space restrictions or just like a little tighter gear spread than the 700R4. This unit is rated to 550HP and 600Lbs of torque and features increased capacity clutch packs with high performance frictions and steels, induction hardened forward clutch drum, modified direct clutch drum, high performance band, billet servo, high performance pump with billet rings and vanes and shot peened rotor, high output pressure and lube system, modified governor and high performance modified valve body for impressive and durable shift performance. TH-700R4

Our most popular performance transmission, we have been modifying and improving this trans since it was first introduced in the early 80’s. We offer several versions of this trans for applications up to 575 horsepower. This trans has a low first gear ratio of 3.06 to 1 and an overdrive ratio of .70 to 1 which translates into stump pulling low end and a 30% reduction in cruise rpm.

This trans was built with a Chevy only bolt pattern, but we have a package for Buick, Olds, Pontiac, and Cadillac people so you can enjoy the benefits of this excellent transmission too.

We also provide a custom rebuild service for those interested in keeping the original trans but need an upgraded version to handle additional power mods. Call for more details.

Our heavy duty replacement trans for 4 wheel drive pick-ups and Blazers is packed with additional upgrades to handle up to 450 horsepower and the additional strain of oversized tires and off-road use. This trans also includes our 4x4 torque converter with stall speed modified for off-road and towing use. This transmission features the factory ”K” case with provision for bolt on aluminum dust cover and block supports and is designed as a direct replacement for GM four wheel drive trucks originally equipped with a 700R4 transmission. $1838.55

This custom version of our 700 is modified to respond to the tremendous torque output of the Ram-Jet engine. A combination of the durability and performance mods of our ZZ and RV transmissions with stall and speed shift calibrations matched to this awesome fuel injected crate motor. $1733.49

Our heavy duty trans with additional modifications to handle up to 450 hp in heavy vehicles such as pick-ups and Suburban's. Our special heavy duty torque converter with towing modifications is included. This is the ideal unit for the person with a warmed up small block or mild big block who tows a boat or a camper on weekends, but doesn't want to sacrifice drivability and economy during the week. This is also an excellent choice for the Streetrodder who would like the durability and economy this unit provides without the higher stall speed and aggressive shifts of the street/strip version. $1745.85

#PT700R4SS
Our street/strip version features over 40 performance and durability upgrades and modifications. These include: high load capacity sprags, high energy friction and band, increased pump volume and pressure, and more to provide the highest level of performance and economy possible. This is a great trans for Streetrods, Muscle Cars, and Sport Trucks whose owners crave the awesome acceleration and tire-spinning, wide open throttle shifts this trans is built for.  This transmission was developed to fill the gap between the SS and SX model 700R4's we offer. The ST has all of the SS model modifications and also features the stronger input drum and reaction shell of the SX model along with the modified reverse input drum and special performance band. This is a great choice for cruiser oriented vehicles with up to 500 horsepower. This trans comes with our "Torque Max" converter with up to 2600 rpm stall speed.$2003.35

This is our strongest version of the 700R4 and is rated at 575 horsepower and 600 lbs. of torque in vehicles up to 3700 lbs.  We take all the modifications and upgrades from our PT700R4SS and add Billet second and fourth gear Servo assemblies , heavy duty reaction sun shell, 5 pinion rear planet and a host of other durability  and performance modifications to create the strongest 700R4 available.  Comes with our ‘TORQUE-MAX’ torque converter in stall speeds up to 2750 rpm.  If you are looking for the strongest, toughest performance 700R4, look no further; this is the trans for you!  $2460.67

Our heavy duty 350 is a perfect replacement trans for those seeking a stronger and better performing trans but don't need nor want a street/strip type trans. This is a great transmission for engine applications up to 325hp. Trans is built with heavy duty clutch packs, shift improvement, and durability modifications. Includes our heavy duty torque converter with 1600-1800 stall speed. A lot of trans for a little money. $921.85

#PTP350SS
Our heavy duty trans with a lot more performance built in, including semi-automatic shifting which allows you to manually upshift or downshift or let the trans shift automatically. This transmission is rated for engines with up to 450hp
. The trans also features a special intermediate sprag race and high rpm governor. A great trans for hot rodding around and occasional racing. Includes our 2000-2200 stall converter. $1024.85

#PT350SX
This is our strongest 350 capable of horsepower and torque in excess of 600Lbs If you want the ratios and size of the 350 but the strength and capacity of a 400 then this is the perfect choice for you. This transmission features a custom machined High clutch drum with 36 element intermediate sprag, 5 high performance clutches in both the forward and direct clutch pack, extra wide hi performance low reverse sprag with wider outer race, and the choice of either a semi automatic or full manual hi performance valve body. In addition to these features this model includes our "Torque Max" torque converter with stall speed up to 2500 rpm, a hardened drive hub with anti balloon plate and hardened turbine hub

350 Lock-Up
The 350 Lockup transmission uses unique hydraulic circuitry to apply a clutch in the torque converter to completely eliminate slippage. What this does for the enthusiast is allows higher stall speeds to be used for acceleration without causing slippage and excessive heat build up when cruising. The lockup feature will typically lower cruise rpm by 200-500 rpm depending on speed, stall speed and rear end ratio. This translates into improved fuel economy and lower operating temperature of both the transmission and engine. This is a great alternative to an overdrive transmission when space is a concern and is considerably less expensive as well. The Lock-Up feature is available on all of our TH-350 models for an additional $359.47

Our strongest 400 available for most applications up to 900 horsepower. This is a great choice for the new breed of Huge output crate engines. We take our SS model transmission and add a 300M billet steel input shaft, modified forward clutch drum, 6 clutch forward and direct clutch packs with special frictions, high strength billet clutch hub and many other performance and durability modifications. This trans comes with our 2500 stall converter but stall speeds up to 4500rpm are available as an extra cost option. $1644.91

4L80E Shown with COMPUSHIFT
 
 

The 4L80E was introduced by GM in 1991 to replace the rugged, but aging 3 speed TH-400. The 4L80E was the first fully computer managed transmission in the GM fleet and has proven to be a strong and reliable transmission in 3/4, 1 ton, and Motor Home Chassis, providing overdrive towing capability and precision electronic shift performance. Naturally Hot-rodders were drawn to this trans as a means to finally get a reliable overdrive to go behind high output big blocks and tow rigs. Unfortunately, it took the after market a few years to come up with a simple and easy to install stand alone computer system that could be fitted to older, non computer controlled vehicles. Well the wait is over and now anyone wishing to harness the full power of their engine up to 1,000 horsepower, can do so with one of our 4L80E transmission and computer packages.

Each trans and converter are built to order to insure the correct stall speed and performance modification per application. The trans is then dyno tested and the computer calibrated for shift scheduling and firmness as well as converter clutch application. The end user has only to install the trans, make 4 or 5 simple connections, and go have fun! If you’re making to much power for a 700R4, and need an overdrive, this is the best choice you can make for performance and drivability for your car or truck.

4L60E
PTP4L60ESS for LS1 and LS2 style engine  

Introduced in 1993, the 4L60E is basically a 700R4 with electronic controls. Gone are the governor, t. v. cable and conventional valve body. This trans must use a computer to function. We offer this trans in several forms for trucks, high performance street/strip cars and street rods. If you have a 4L60E to retrofit to a non computerized application we can support you with our COMPUSHIFT transmission computer system, priced at $1279.61

#PT4L60ESX / PT4L65ESX/4L70ESX  
Rated to 575rwhp, this is our strongest version of the 4L60E/4l65E/4L70E and is far more durable than even the factory models of these transmissions. In addition to all the mods we make to our SS model transmission, this unit is equipped with the genuine OE style 5 pinion front and rear planetary,( not the wimpy aftermarket 5 pinion planets with inferior castings), larger torrington bearings and hardened reaction hub. The input drum is modified to resist breakage and forward piston replaced with a stronger design, the Reaction sun shell is replaced with a super duty shell which is substantially thicker in the fragile spline area than even the latest GM upgraded shell. We use billet servo assemblies for both the second and 4th gear servo for unparallel holding force but with streetable shift comfort. The Reverse drum is modified and a High Carbon 2-4 band with reinforced anchor points. The ¾ clutch pack has twice the capacity of a stock pack and uses special high rev springs. The pump and valve body are modified for increased oil volume and pressure and the TCC circuit is modified for positive converter clutch application. These units come with our Torque Max torque converter with clutches tailored to your specific ECM programming. Standard stall speeds are available from 1600 up to 2500 rpm but stall speeds up to 4500 are available as an extra cost option.
The SX is available with or without the Compushift computer system.
